HONORS EVEN AS "STUEY" LEVELS
 | Fc St George kept their home record intact , but it meant they had to give a blood and guts display to hold out for a draw. A win and two draws from their first three home games has kept Fortress St Georges a daunting venue to come to . and today’s visitors Division leaders The Weaver found it no push over . The new team had come well informed and their game plan of long ball forward meant it was aerial traffic and very little football was played on the ground.
Player-Boss Glasson was without Striker Mikey Payne(Ankle) but there was little change to the side from last weeks cup game. Portugese defensive midfielder Da silva keeping his place in the side and Cemtral defender Nigel Chantly back in the starting line-up. Weaver came at the home-side straight away looking for the long ball route and while this was their play all through the game it only reaped reward in the tenth minute. A long ball down the right flank lofted over the home defence and a quick thinking Weaver striker weaved into the box and slotted under a diving Makwana. 1-0. Fc St George had to dig in as Weaver pushed for more. Man of the match Fc St GEORGES keeper Alex Makwana pulling off array of saves to keep his side in the game, This top of the table clash soon became a battle of wills and every time Fc St George pushed forward, they got nearer to the equaliser. Central defender Mark Self came closest with a dipping 30 yard volley that just skimmed over. And after apparently riding their luck the home side grabbed a equaliser a minute before the break and against the run of play. Mark davies cross from the left flank was met by Simon Clark who put in Stiker stuart green , who saw his intial shot parried by the keeper before slotting the rebound home. 1-1, The second half was end to end but Fc St GEORGES Player-boss Glasson should have put his side ahead straight after the break, Skipper Matt Crucifix won a ball outside the box and the ball found Jeff Glasson unmarked coming in from the left, with only the keepr to beat his shot went just past the far post. The Weaver response well and continued to pepper the homesides box with corners free-kicks and the continuouse long ball forwards. Makwana again was at hand with a brilliant keeping display and his two uprights also had a helping hand. Simon Clark and Da Silva were replaced with Martin Read and Mark Wallis and both had chances saved after they came on. The last twenty Fc St George were pushed deep into their own half and defender Lee Kennedy was replaced by John Green as they shored up the back as the weaver pushed for the winner . it nearly came on 85 minutes A last ditch push by weaver caught the homeside off guard and with three against two .it was a timely interception by Glasson who intercepted a the cross from the right and knocked it out of danger. The last few minutes fc were hemmed in there own box but did enough to take a share of the points. Final score 1-1
