FC ST GEORGE 3 - 0 DILTON ROVERS
 | KELLY’S ON SONG
FC ‘S Cutting edge was just enough to oust Dilton Rovers in the drizzling rain as Fortress St Georges proved just to tough to break. Two Goals either side of the interval by Midfielder Rory Kelly broke the back of Rovers and stand in Captain Mikey Payne grabbed a third to silence the young Dilton Side.
This was tipped to be a hard game and it didn’t disappoint, Dilton are a creative side and they kept to their game plan which just lacked that polished finish , while Fc just keep playing more and more football with every game. Fc’s Man of the Match Sean Holton a fine example of the players Glasson has brought in this season. Holton continues to impress and brings the best out of the other players. His battling prowess proved a major factor in this game, defending, attacking, covering and combining with his fellow Midfielders M davies Rory Kelly They gave little away and with the wingbacks of Read and Da Silva proving just as deadly in the absence of Clarke and skipper Crucifix it was going to something special from Dilton to win this game..
The Home side took the lead on the half hr when it looked like a stalemate game. Nigel Chantley who was just shaded by Man of the Match Sean Holton had made a rare run forward and found Kelly unmarked, who had time and space to fire home one of his trade mark 30 yard volleys that sailed in like a exocet missle. 1-0. Kelly then made 2-0 after he poked in from a mark corner on 57 minutes. Lee Kennedy made way for Stuart Green as the home side looked to finish off the visitors. Mark Wallis who was passed fit to play was applauded off after having another positive game and replaced by youngster Daniel Harper. And with 5 minutes to go Stand in skipper Mikey Payne slotted in Fc’s third.
Fimal score 3-0
