AND THE TWELVE BELLS FELL SILENT
 | Twelve bells 1 – 3 fc st george
Returning Striker Stuart Green bagged a second half double and man of the match as Fc St George promotion wagon nearly stuttered against a buoyant Twelve bells. The first half performance was well under par and up to the eighteenth minute Fc didn’t look like scoring against basement boys twelve bells . And the only difference was prolific Striker Mikey Paynes opening goal . Payne knocking in from three yards.0-1 but the home side soon levelled things with a goal ten minutes later. Twelve bells had looked a regenerated side under new management and threatened with their training ground set-pieces. Fc keeper Alex Makwana had to react quickly to tip over a point blank shot over the bar early on and it was from a similar set piece that they levelled things.1-1 Martin Read , Mark Davies and Stuart Green then all had half chances as the first half ended.
Twelve Bells equaliser set the bells ringing for the Warminster side who rode out the first half and a stern interval talk by skipper Matt Crucifix looked to shake them up going into the second half. Fc still looked jaded as twelve bells looked to dominate the early stages of the second half and ten minutes in, Matt Crucifix came on for Portugese Da Silva and Mark Wallis came off for Simon Clark, Stuart green was able to move upfront from right wing back. Glassons changes almost paid dividends with Clark. Green. and Payne going close, at the other end Twelve bells strikers were hitting their shots wide and Keeper Alex Makwana was lucky to just get a yellow for comig out of his box and pulling down a dangerous threat after Twelve bells outnumbered his defence after countering a corner. The Breakthrough came on 75 minutes Martin read found Stuart Green down the left flank and the striker composed himself before firing in a shot into the bottom right corner 1-2. Fc then dominated the rest of the match and Stuart Green grabbed his second off the game, Sean Holton found Clarke running down the right channel who in turn picked out Payne who jinxed into the box and placed a low inviting ball into the box. The homeside looked for a offside decision as the ball rolled across goal to Stuart Green who tapped in at the far post. 1-3. Mikey Payne then made way for Daniel Harper. Final score 1-3
Fc remain second as leaders Three Swans beat Dilton Rovers 2-0 and Weaver Fc sit third with a game in hand after beating The Griffen 7-2,. Paulton rovers the biggest mover of the pack who are 7 points adrift of the the top three after beating Norton Nomads 1-3 and climbing to fifth.
