GRIFFIN FC 5 V 2 FC ST GEORGE sunday 17th Bottom side Griffen Fc capitalised on the Visitors defence who were hoping for a offside decision on 15 minutes , the refereee never blew and Griffen scored the first of thier five. It was a lack lustre perfromance from Fc St George who could not contain or break Griffins determination. The Basement boys scored two more before the break. The Second half Fc St George did look half decent and forced the issue but they were caught out on a conter attack and conceded a fourth. Striker Mike Payne final grabbed a goal for the saints and then double his tally with qtr hr to go. The game however was out of reach as Mark Self show boating cost his side a fifth goal. This was one of their worst games played this season and any talk of promotion well is just hearsay.......(here i wud put full match report to come but what can i add!!!) we were poo!!
