iS THE RUN IN TOO MUCH!!!!
 | | Thursday night was like a disaster movie ready to happen, surseset already had written, produced and even scored the script. News must have spread quickly this week that the Deverills had a Hospital Cup fixture against Prestbury the same night, and Fc St Georges Manager Glasson was without six first team players(with half playing for the Deverills) Stuart green still banned, Skipper Crucifix a week away from training again and Rory kelly somewhere across the scottish border. Never the less the squad that was put were more than capable to take the game to Sureset, However thier hosts failed in all departments and Suresets tenth minute opener showed the cracks as the pressure mounts for that crucicle third place. Sureset grabbed a second in the first half with no really threat from Glassons makeshift side. The second half it just got bad to worse and frustrations, bad light and a lack lustre home side helped sureset to thier biggest win over thier local rivals; as they bagged another two goals and should have had a few more. Fc's Mark Wallis grabbed Fc St Georges consolation goal. Not since the famouse Alamo game have i seen Surset play that well, But they did not have to as thier Keepers 70 yard balls foward were badly defended against and thier number nine striker was a menace all thought the ninety minutes. |
