Fc st george interupted season hopefully will get back on track next week, weather Permitting,or, hopefully the outstanding cup games have all been played and draws have been made. Next weeks Cup Fixture sees Fc st George play Asda Fc in the qtr finals of the Division Two cup.This was drawn a fortnight ago and is running as scripted. This will be Fcs first home games since.........
Fc St George look to have majority of thier players all fit and available Mark Davies. Chris Ayres return to training this week. Portugese Star Henrik Da Silva the only long term player sidelined. With Martin Read gone and Damian Holton not likely to feature the left side looks to be a temporary filled by either Youngster Jamie Davies or Polish Import Daruis Sedzik.
Tuesday Training
Unless we have some more freaky weather Tuesday training will continue as normal
CLOSER LINKS WITH HIGHBURY
Club Manager Glasson will forge closer links with Warminster Highbury Youth this year to bridge the gap for the ages 15-18. Fc St George policy to generate a pool of younger players is already cemented with the hope of generating a Reserve side using players from the age of 16 and upwards. There is little in warminster for young players who have reached the age 0f 15, but to keep thier interest and make them ready for adult football Glasson is hoping that once these players exceed thier playing age for Highbury they may want to have a year training with the club before signing to play for the club at 16 the following season.
Fc st George will be sponsoring one of the Pitches at the Warminster Highbury Youth Tournament in May(weekend 2/3) and will supply players to organise the penalty shoot.
