Judo a family way of life.

Ferndale Youth Judo Club is a member of the British Judo Association (BJA). Meeting at: Ferndale Youth Centre Southbrook Street Swindon We meet on a Friday evening Juniors 5 to 16 years at 7.30 to 8.30 followed by Seniors 16 years plus 8.30 to 9.30. Bryan Evans 1st Dan, Club Coach and examiner is the head of the club. Other club coaches are Adam (2nd Dan) and Louise Brown belt) Whatley, George McGuire (Brown belt) and Ann Dyson (1st Dan). Bryan has been a member of the club for at mere 20 years,and worked his way up to head coach and examiner. His wife and 2 children are also involved in the club. Louise has been a member for 14 years and met her husband through Judo, the only time she has had off the mat was through a pregnancy but she still managed to coach from the sidelines her Kano (under 8 year olds) class. Adam Joined the club 7 years ago on an occasional basis, more recently joining the coaching team along with George and Ann.
