Community radio with a Christian flavour
After a successful run in 2000, FlameFM'02 is reaching more parts in 2002. It is broadcasting on 106.8 FM, 24 hours a day, from Bath Road to places as far afield as Minety and Wroughton, Membury and the Lydiards.
In a massive effort, Swindon's churches have once again brought together volunteers to broadcast a month's worth of high-quality radio. It kicked off at 6 pm on 13th May and will close at midnight on 9th June.
Among the highlights so far have been the (unscheduled) visit of the local Fire Brigade to the opening ceremony, the Pentecost service from STEAM, and live links to the US.
Tune in on 106.8 FM now to hear good local radio, dedicate records to your friends and take part in competitions.
