Welcome to Hilperton Village Hall
 | Hilperton village boasts a thriving community with a Village Hall catering for many social groups of all ages from Brownies to WI and Beavers to 60 Plus.
The hall is an attractive venue for childrens' parties, christening and wedding parties, social events, formal dinners, meetings, skittles, and other interest groups.
There are two areas available: The main hall is very large and has an adjacent well-equipped kitchen with large serving hatch. The hall is large enough to formally seat 80 for dinner (with tables and chairs provided) or approx. 150 people for disco type events.
The committee room is a smaller area able to seat about 30 people. It has a small kitchen area and separate toilet facilities from the main hall.
Use of the catering facilities is included in the main hall hire fee, although an additional charge (to Hilperton Village Hall Social Club) is made for the use of the fully staffed licensed bar. Please contact 01225 761280 (before 9.00 pm) for current booking rates, availability etc.
In addition the hall has what seems to be a well kept secret - a members' only licenced bar, accessed from the 'field' side of the building, that is open every evening from 8.00 pm. Membership costs only £6 per annum and the bar prices are considerably below those charged in pubs.
Clicking the 'What's On' button (on the links to the left of this page) will show you all the future social functions that are planned. Please feel free to browse and find out more about the clubs that use our hall. |

Hall Improvement Fund
Hilperton Village Hall is continuing to raise money to improve facilities for all users. Recently the roof was replaced, and the main hall was painted and new curtains made. The current phase is the re-decoration of the lounge bar together with the installation of new lighting.
The next major scheme is to provide disabled bathroom facilities and improved changing rooms for the sports teams.
Although various grants have been applied for, we have so far been unsuccessful so it's up to all of us to support our hall and ensure it remains fit tor the future.
Think you can help somehow? We are always looking for new ways of raising money and increasing our membership. If you feel you can contribute in some way, please come along and see us. |
The hall's 50th birthday!
Hilperton Village Hall was opened in July 1951.
Back in 2001, on the 21st July, we held a birthday party to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the day and made the hall's birthday so special.
We look forward to the centenary celebration!! |
