Bastille Day +Tour de France 2002
 | We stayed with our hosts in Normandy in July. On the 13th the Tour de France went through Tessy, for which the whole village turned out, with streets suitably decorated.
That evening there was a dinner, dance and fireworks, celebrating the Tour De France and Bastille Day, attended by about 400 people including the members of the Jumelage. |

D Day Visit to Normandy 2004
 | | In 2004 we visited Normandy during the D-Day commemorations. This included a visit to Caen where one of our members received his Normandy medal, a wartime display, a museum visit and a spectacular fireworks display at Moyon. |

2006 Lessay Fair
 | In September 2006 we joined our French friends to visit the Foire Sainte-Croix at Lessay. This large agricultural show dates back to the 11th century and, although it now attracts thousands of people, its rustic and traditional character probably has changed very little over the centuries. There was plenty to see, apart from the animals and machinery, there was lots of food and wine to sample and stalls selling everything from tablecloths to washing machines and motorcycles.
The visit was rounded off with a Boules tournament and dinner at Saint Louet sur Vire
