‘CLUB RULES AND CONDITIONS’
1. Club will be known as ‘MOULDON HILL ANGLING CLUB’.
2. The Club shall hold an ‘Annual General Meeting’ (A.G.M), that will be held each March.
3. All anglers over the age of twelve are to be in possession of a valid (N.R.A) Rod Licence.
4. Permits or Day Tickets are to be obtained prior to fishing.
5. The Club shall operate an ‘Open Fishing Season’ to run from 1st April each year until 31st March the following year.
6. Fishing only permitted between dawn and up to one hour after dusk (No night fishing).
7. Fishing is only allowed from designated areas.
8. All Members and Day Ticket users to use official entrance to the Club Lake and to use the allocated parking area. And lock gate after each Entry/Exit.
9. Only one rod to be used at any one time.
10. No rods to be left unattended. 11. Keepnets to be a minimum of two meters in length, and have at least a carpmesh bottom.
12. No fish to be retained in keepnets for more than five hours.
13. All fish to be returned to the Clubs water.
14. No pitching of tents or camping allowed on Club Venue, (only fishing brollies permitted).
15. No watercraft of any kind allowed on Club Water, i.e..Bait boats,Canoes,Paddle boats or Air-Dingies.
16. No fires or barbecues allowed at venue.
17. No radios allowed, except Personal HeadSets.
18. No tins of any kind allowed on Club Venue.
19. No Gaffs to be used.
20. No spinning or livebaiting.
21. No boilies or nuts to be used.
22. Barbless hooks to be used & Only one hook per Rod/Line.
23. No Littering; Any Litter or Line found in an Anglers Swim will be presumed to be theirs, which must be removed immediately and disposed of properly. 24. Membership & DayTicket holders shall 'Abide' by 'Club Competition Match Rules'.
25. All decisions and/or any alteration of the ‘Rules and Conditions’ within the Club shall be made by the ‘Main Committee’ which shall be ‘Carried’ only upon the ‘Full Vote’ of the said ‘Committee’ being in favour, which in any case, will be ‘Final’.
26. The Club will not be held liable for any damage to, or loss of any Members property.
27. Any person that is found or reported and proven to be in breach of the Clubs ‘Rules and Conditions’ will be expelled from the Club and reported to the ‘Swindon Fisheries Forum’ by which they could also become banned from using other local Fisheries. Revised and Set: April 2005

COMPETITION / MATCH RULES
1. Competitions for the Club Aggregate will be run on a points system and the system to be used is a follows:
2. 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 3 points and so on, until the last angler, e.g. 20th place = 20 points.
3. All anglers attending but not weighing-in will receive the last anglers score plus 1 point, e.g. If the last angler scores 20 points then all non weigh-ins will receive 21 points.
4. The angler with the least points at the end of the aggregate matches will be deemed the winner. In the event of a tie, then the angler with the best accumulative weight will become the winner.
5. The aggregate Trophy will be fished for over 8 matches. Each angler may drop his worst two results.
6. All competitions will be of a 5-hour duration.
7. All competitors must fish the peg they draw and ‘No’ re-draw will be allowed unless of an unnatural occurrence.
8. There will be a levy of £2.00 for all matches, plus an optional £5.00 pool on the day.
The pools pay-out will be as follows; a. Upto 5 competitors = Winner takes all. b. Upto 10 competitors, 1st = 60% pay-out, 2nd = 40% pay-out. c. 11 competitors and over, 1st = 50% pay-out, 2nd = 30% pay-out, 3rd = 20% pay-out.
9. No ground-bait or feed may be introduced into a swim prior to the start. Only shotting and depth finding will be allowed prior to the start of the match.
10. All fish must be kept in a keepnet complying with the Club and Environment Agency ByeLaws.
11. All fish weighed must be ‘alive’. If any fish are in distress during a competition the scale-man may weigh-in the distressed fish and return them to the water, providing it does not stress the fish further.
12. Competitors may only use one rod with one hook attached at any one time.
13. No baits allowed by the Fishery Bye-Laws/Club will be allowed, e.g. No Boilies, Nuts, Live-Baits etc, to be used.
14. No pike or trout are eligible for weighing-in, in any competition. Except in Pike/Trout Matches.
15. Litter; All competitors will be held responsible for any litter found at their pegs. Any Litter found at a peg will render the competitor to disqualification and being reported to the Club Committee.
16. All competitors are to produce their Club Permits as and when asked for by Club Officials/Members.
17. The match Secretary or person in charge will make on the spot decisions on any matters arising not already covered within the match Rules, which will be ‘Final’ and will be in fairness to ‘All Anglers’.
18. In addition to the above Competition/Match Rules; All anglers are also required and expected to abide by the Main 'Rules & Conditions' of the Club. Revised and Set, April 2005.
