New Years Buffet January 2007

A collection of past and present South Wilts Referees that attended the New Years Buffet at Laverstock & Ford FC.

Amesbury Sports FC

Amesbury Sports FC Under 13's pictured before the 2005/06 WC Stokes cup final. A local derby played at Bemerton saw Amesbury Sports FC go down to their local rivals Amesbury Junior FC by six goals to nil.

Keeping it in the family

Mark Edmonds and his son Jordan with their collection of WC Stokes cup trophies. Mark was appointed assistant referee in 1995/96, 4th official in 1996/97 and referee in 1997/98 whilst Jordan was a runner-up with Amesbury Sports in 2005/06 and a winner with Bemerton Heath Harlequins in 2006/07.

WC Stokes cup final programme

The cup final programme from 1982/83 season between Amesbury Town and Enford played at Victoria Park, the former home of Salisbury City FC. Amesbury Town came from 0-2 down at half time to win 4-2.

New Street Ladies FC

A newspaper cutting from the Andover Advertiser. New Street Ladies FC have just beaten Laverstock & Ford Ladies FC 4-1 in the first leg of the Nadder Valley Challenge Cup season 2003/04.

Laverstock & Ford Ladies FC pictured before their Nadder Valley Challenge Cup Final 2nd Leg against New Street Ladies FC in season 2003/04. New Street Ladies went on to win the game 5-0, making it 9-1 over the two legs. This was the only season that the league ran a Ladies Cup Competition.

Reg Pritchard

Reg Pritchard pictured in the early 1970's, the then secretary of the league pictured with the new Knock out Cup to be played for by boys under 15 years of age. The cup was presented by the President and Vice- President of the league, Lord and Lady Margadale.
