Antenatal Classess

Antenatal classes run by a qualified NCT teacher are held approximately four times a year. Each course consists of 9 sessions, including one with a breastfeeding counsellor, and are held at the teachers home.
The aim of the course is to be informative in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It also provides a wonderful opportunity to meet with other individuals entering a similar phase in their lives. Your partner, or whoever will be with you during the birth of your child, is encouraged to attend the course with you.
Our NCT antenatal course covers the following areas:
* Pregnancy and birth.
* Body awareness, relaxation, breathing and massage.
* Positions for labour and birth.
* Exploring natural and medical methods of pain relief.
*The role of your partner or your labour supporter and their needs.
* The needs of your new baby.
* Feeding your baby.
* Parenting and the changes a new baby brings to a family.
