What's on offer to fellow modelers

The track is constructed of mainly steel bullhead rail in 5” and 7 ¼” gauge. The main line is 1095 ft., the loop is 1356 ft. and the short loop is 630 ft long giving a total length of 3081 ft. or approximately ½ a mile long.Eight sit on and three sit-in 7 ¼”g, coaches plus four 5”g are available for visitors, although driving trucks are in short supply. Water and coal are also available. The society has full insurance against accidents to the Public for members and visitors.

Rules for running steam loco's

All Steam Locomotives must be in possession of a current Boiler Certificate containing test details as recommended by the Southern Federation of Model Engineers.
