A new group for Penhill

EGG - Environmental Group for Groundwell - Groundwell Brook runs from North to South between Lower Penhill and the new developments at Groundwell and Abbey Meads. A fact finding walk was held with Dominic Lamb from the Wiltshire wildlife Trust and those who attended learnt more about the fascinating diversity of the hedgerows and the Groundwell Ridge, beloved by those who have overlooked the area for many years and watched the wildlife. from their windows.

Everyone who is interested in helping to raise awareness of the importance of the Groundwell Brook and surrounding areas can contact us as below, the Group has not met for several years, but can be resurrected if need be and information is still held on the area. i.e. we are still are still interested too!
