Hi All
My name is Tony Hall and I've lived in Westbury for the last 13 years and have been married for 13 years and have a 9 year old German Shepherd called Bella.
I've done many things in my life including working in what use to be Warminster Automobiles which use to be a Rover Garage, I worked there as a Car Valeter and Driver.
I also worked in Warminster Hospital as a Hospital Porter ( I did that for over 5 years), I've worked in a Nursing Home, with the MOD as a Army Driver and I've also been a Volunteer Driver for Westbury Link Scheme, Medicar and Wiltshire County Council Passenger Transport Unit. I've also been a Volunteer with the British Red Cross in Warminster, I was with them for just under 2 years.
My real love has always been with Animals even though I've never had a job working with them. I started Petsar Lost pet Search just over 4 years ago and since starting it I've had problems with illness but I've always believed that I was meant to be a Lost pet Searcher and have never questioned why.
Since finding out that I had type 2 Diabetes and giving up driving my car I've loved being out on Patrol on the Mountain Bike in all weathers. If I have one piece of advice for anyone who wants to work with pets its this, follow your dreams because its worth it in the end.
I know that some people laugh at me when I'm out on Cycle Patrol wondering why a 39 year old man would want to do this, but the feeling I get, you can't buy it with all the money in the world. I only know that my whole life has led up to this point and I'm going to enjoy the ride and help as many Lost pet owners that I can.
Maybe I'll see you out there.
Tony. |
