When I First got Bella I was going to train her as a Tracking dog to follow the scent of a lost dog or cat, we started the training and it became clear that she had a natural nose for doing this sort of work. Then Bella had serious illness after being attacked by another dog, we really did think that we where going to lose her but she fought back.
It was after this that I decided not to carry on with Bella as she then was attacked again but this time she fought through and this time amazed everyone who met her.
She brought me back from the dark when I was down and showed me the light, she is my Angel and my Best Friend. I have no doubt in my mind that she would give her life for mine and I without any question of a doubt give mine for hers.
A German Shepherd is in my view the best Companion that anyone could ask for, ok they are loud and big but I know that Bella is always around to make me smile. Everyone in Westbury who loves German Shepherds have met Bella at least once most know her by name.
