Mission Statement:

Purton Structure Alliance (PSA) is a group of villagers in Purton, Wiltshire, which is seeking to promote the continuation and improvement of the village character and integrity, while ensuring that all future development is structured in a logical and sensitive way.

Our group:

PSA was formed in April 1998 on hearing that a developer was planning to build about 50 houses in an area of Purton which is not only outside the Framework Boundary but also within the Rural Buffer. Since that time PSA has been active in a number of ways:

i)we conducted a survey in June 1998 of parishioners' views on housing, infrastructure, policing and services

ii)we attend Parish Council Meetings

iii)we also attend Area Committee Meetings

iv)we are in close contact with representatives of organisations which make decisions about our parish, such as the District and County Councils, Wiltshire police and other amenity societies.
