About our Club
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a support base to other South Africans. We organise regular get-togethers to meet new people in our local area, have fun and share a good laugh! This site is hosted as a non-profit service which is growing steadily, and it's free to join, so do so now... it's always good to meet new people!
In the beginning
The club started in 2001 with a small (very small) group of friends in the Swindon/Marlborough area of Wiltshire who wanted to increase their circle of friends.

The South African Society
We hold monthly gatherings on the first Wednesday of each month at 18h30. First Floor, Horse and Groom, 128 Great Portland Street, London. Phone 0207 8434274 or just turn up. Dress is smart casual (no jeans).
Southern African 40 Plus Social Group

Afrikaanse Literere Cafe
The first Monday of every month in Covent Gardens sees lovers of Afrikaans literature gather to discuss their favourite authors and poets. Email: afrikaansinlonden@hotmail.com for info.
