Here are some examples of what is available for your child

Sandplay, waterplay, indoor climbing frame, bicycles with stabilisers for outdoor play, jigsaws, drawing, painting, gluing, dressing-up clothes, playhouse, play kitchen, play with food substances, building bricks, farmyard, book corner, train set, outdoor activities, toys, etc.

Additional craft activities which encourage creativity in your child are undertaken each day.

The Setting also has access to an allotment and is able to access the primary school's ICT and Library facilities.

During the morning and afternoon sessions drinking water is available at all times. A healthy morning snack is provided. For those children attending an afternoon session, an all day session or for those who extend their morning session to stay for lunch, parents must ensure that their child brings a healthy packed lunch with them when they attend.

The staff are aware of special dietary needs, allergies and medical needs of each individual child.

Hygienic hand washing after using the “child size” toilets and prior to snack time.

Supervision for all of the above is provided by suitably qualified staff.

Our Pre-School Leader is present most days and we have a nominated Deputy to cover if the Leader is absent for any reason.
