Four Lane Blacktop

Four Lane Blacktop is a slot racing club in the centre of Swindon, Wilts. The club is run by enthusiasts for fun not profit.
We have our own clubroom, with a permanently erected track and plenty of space for working on cars. Our membership includes adults and schoolchildren, male and female.
Slot racing is a development of Scalextric, using faster cars and a custom-made track. Our track is 100 feet long, with four lanes, and automated lap counting. A 1/24 scale production car (cost around £35) will lap this track in just over four seconds.
We meet weekly, on a Tuesday evening and monthly, on Saturday mornings for Lads and Dads Scalextric sessions. Currently we're running regular racing for 1/24 and 1/32 production cars. We also run special events at weekend from time to time, and the track is available all week round to club members to practice. We regularly run a round of the Southern 32 Championship.

We would love to hear from slotracers old and new. We always have cars and controllers available to enable you to have a go. You are welcome to bring your own cars to try them, including all sorts of Scalextric, Ninco and Fly cars, which most of us have as well!
