Don't Hibernate - Circulate!

Established in 1991 Square One is a friendly, lively social club primarily for unattached and single people. It is Swindons largest club of its type and has over 100 members (Oct 2007). There is a roughly equal male/female ratio.

Our members attend events such as parties, games nights, theatre visits, skittles, dances, weekends away, quiz nights, swimming, video nights, meals out, bowling, walks, cinema visits and jive classes.

It is suitable for the over 35's who would like to improve their social life. It is primarily a friendship club not a dating agency, any relationships which do form being a result of normal social interaction. Couples who meet at the club are allowed to retain membership.

Initial visits are free, thereafter it costs £5 to join and monthly subscriptions are £3.

The club is non profit making being run by a voluntary committee and any surplus money is used to subsidise events.

The club holds a bar night every Wednesday at 8.30 pm in the function room of the White Hart, Oxford Road, Swindon and new members are most welcome to attend. Just turn up and ask for a committee member or call 01793 345054 for details.
