Pram Service Perfect for pre-school age children and those at school in the morning only. It is held on Thursdays from 2.30pm to 3pm at Purton Methodist Church, Play Close, Purton. During the 1/2 hour we sing songs, have stories, say simple prayers as we light a candle and end with a snack. Everyone is welcome and we finish in time for you to collect older children from St Mary's School, just opposite! Drop in when you can. Further information from Judith Wells (770627)
United Junior Church (UJC) meets in St Mary’s School Lower building at 10.30 on Sunday mornings except the first Sunday when there is a Family Service at St Mary's Church. With stories, music and activities it's a great way to spend time with friends, have fun and find out about our wonderful God. Beth Dent is always there on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Why not come along and say hello? (Parents can stay if they wish.) There are three groups: 3-5years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years. UJC also takes an active part in Church and village events.
Rock Solid Rock Solid is our new young people's group for those currently in years 5 and 6 at school. It meets on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.00pm at Purton Methodist Church and is rund by our youth worker, Beth Dent, and a great team of volunteers. With crazy games, chill out time, tuck as well as something to think about each week it's proving very popular. More information from Beth on 01793 771 936 or bethdent@googlemail.com)
