Youth Section

Organised coaching is held three nights a week and for the 2003 season the club now have a team of 12 ECB qualified coaches teaching the youngsters. Fixtures will normally be on weekend mornings. We try to avoid arranging fixtures during the week; these nights are reserved for school fixtures and so we cannot field properly representative sides.

Friendly fixtures are being arranged for the Under 11's and Under 12's whilst the U13's have been entered in the North Wilts Junior League this season. The Under 15's did the club proud by reaching the County Final of the National knockout only to loose out to Chippenham on their home pitch in the final.Nevertheless the team did well to reach that stage of the competition and many of the team are now representing the club at 4th eleven level on Saturdays.

Training nights :

Under-11 (including beginners) Monday nights
Under-12/13 Tuesday nights
Under-15 Friday nights

Junior club membership forms and induction packs can be obtained from Kevin Thompson but please phone first for details as due to the huge popularity of our junior sections a waiting list is now in operation for junior members.

Dan Willis

If enthusiasm and commitment were all you needed Dan would be a Test player by now. As it is he is a useful inswing bowler who like all bowlers thinks he can bat a bit as well. Never shy to ask for advice Dan is rapidly improving and with his new boots will be twice the player this year.
