If you need volunteers we can help

Volunteering can be associated with a charitable or voluntary body. It can also include involvement with statutory agencies, self-help and informal community groups.

We can help you find volunteers by advertising your voluntary vacancies in our files. We also send out bi-monthly Latest Vacancies sheet to a large mailing list of potential volunteers as well as places that help us advertise the vacancies for example, large companies and the local media.

Other services we offer include:-
VOLUNTEER ORGANISERS FORUM - a bi-monthly meeting for people with responsibility for recruiting volunteers. We discuss a wide range of volunteering issues informally over lunch. This is a good opportunity to meet other volunteer organisers and exchange ideas.
LIBRARY - we have a small library of books on volunteering issues that can be borrowed.
FACTSHEETS - we have a selection of our own fact sheets on important volunteering issues that can be purchased for a small fee.
TRAINING - we try and provide any training around volunteering issues that is requested by the forum.
