Volunteers make a difference locally

We currently have 7 Case Workers who visit our members in their homes offering; support and advice on so many differnet subjects relating to blindness. They not only support and give advice but offer news and information to craft clubs locally, help with benefit forms and often listen to family members about their needs and concerns too.
Recently WBA have began recruiting volunteers to help the Case Workers in visiting members in their local area's to ease some of the work load and enabling them to visit more people needed support.
Could you give your time to visit regularly people living with sight loss in your area? Could you give an hour or two each week/month to maybe read or shop for someone unable to do this for themselves?
If you can call me Caroline on 01454 319777 for more information and an application form. All applicants will need to have a CRB police check and have an interview.
Thank you for making a difference!
