About Westbury Folk Dance Club

We are a friendly and sociable group who enjoy the experience of folk dancing in all its styles.

We enjoy a mixture of folk dancing, including traditional country dances, Playford, Square and Contra dances.

We always welcome new and less experienced dancers to our evenings, as well as dancers visiting the area on holiday.

The club is fortunate to have its own club callers. We also vary the programme by inviting guest callers.

The club is affiliated to the English Folk Dance & Song Society.

Useful information about our club

We meet fortnightly on Thursdays from September to July. We start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.45pm.

Visitors to the club pay an entrance fee of £2.00 per night.

Annual Membership of the club is £3.00 and thereafter members entrance fee is £1.50 per night.

Refreshments are provided free during the interval.
We are members of Wiltshire Folk Association WFA.

How to find us

We are fortunate to have the use of Westbury Leigh Community Hall, where all our club nights and dances are held (unless otherwise specified). This is situated in the village of Westbury Leigh and has its own free car park.
Use the link below to find us. For a more general map of the area, select a lower magnification, then our location will be shown as a church with a tower.
