RACE NIGHTS

Warminster Lions can help other organisations raise funds - and/or have fun - through their indoor Horse Racing facility. Far more exiting than the video version, this involves participants chosen - or forced by their friends! - to be 'jockeys' winding-in wooden horses with contraptions that defy description (but involve some string). Apart from paralysis of the right arm, this usually results in mayhem as the onlookers - who have either 'bought' a horse for the race and/or bet on the outcome (we provide the on-course bookmaker) - urge their chosen ones to be first past the post. We take an exorbitant proportion of the profits - your organisation keeps what's left. However, if you catch us on a good day and your cause is a worthy one we might agree to a somewhat different arrangement for dividing up the spoils. Try us.
