Broadband Live!

After an intensive campaign, Woodborough persuaded BT to upgrade the exchange (which is next to Woodborough School) on 28 April 2004 for Broadband. The exchange area (01672 851xxx and 852xxx) serves the villages of Stanton St Bernard, Alton Barnes, Alton Priors, Honey Street, St Gore, Bottlesford, Hilcot and Wilsford, but unfortunately some houses may still be further than the 6.6km maximum. BT is currently trialling equipment to extend the distance to 10km.
