This long established, Wiltshire based angling club welcomes new members for the 2012/2013 season. The club has fishing rights on a considerable stretch of the Rivers Avon & Marden near Chippenham and Wroughton Reservoir.
The cost of a season ticket for senior members is £32.50, and £15.00 for Juniors(over 12), Ladies & OAPs.
The reservoir is open all Year round for general course fishing. For the WAC controlled stretch of the the Rivers Avon and Marden, the fishing season for coarse fish shall be in accordance with the byelaws of the NRA, namely from 16th June to 14th March (both dates inclusive).
The club offers a full match calendar for those so inclined, with senior members always ready and available to ensure safe passage and tuition for those members in need of transport & assistance, indeed, tuition days for juniors will be provided where numbers permit.
For those who require a less competitive approach to their sport, there is plenty of scope and opportunity for that "get away from it all" solitude with some excellent prospects for quality fishing.
The rivers offer the prospect of some superb Chub, Barbel, Roach, Dace, bream, Perch Eels, Pike and even Tench.
The reservoir holds some very large and wily Carp, Roach, Rudd and large Tench.
