Welcome to Warminster Table Tennis Club's Website

Following its excellent showing in the West Wilts League in the 2007/8 season, Warminster Table Tennis Club has 3 teams in the League for 2008/9. The fixture list can be seen by clicking on the link below

Oct 10th: Congratulations to juniors Adam Palin, Jack Dunlop and Dale Bard who have been awarded their 'Rookie' badges under the Dunlop Skills Awards coaching programme run by the Club. The next target for them is 'Improver' status. We expect to see more of their colleagues making their way onto this Table Tennis Skills Ladder soon as a result of their progress during the Club's Friday night practice sessions.

About the Club

The Club is active in the West Wiltshire Table Tennis League with Teams competing in the Premier and 2nd Divisions in 2007/8. In the close season (April through mid September) it meets on Wednesdays at St George's School Warminster for practice and intra-club competitions (meetings during July & August depend on demand due to holidays but pick up again in September in readiness for league matches which start around the 3rd week of the month).

New players - of whatever standard - are always welcome and Club members are happy to provide advice and coaching for beginners and those wishing to take up the game or return to it after a break (see link to the 'Coaching' page to the left).

Fees are a modest £3 per Club session attended and these start around 7.15pm and finish around 9.30-10pm but later arrivals & earlier departures are fine.

If you are interested in coming along please make contact via the Mail Form link on the left of the page.

Travelling Tables

We would like to consider bringing Table Tennis to other locations in the Community Area by running introductory or coaching sessions to give people a chance to see if they'd like to join the Club. If you can arrange for the use of e.g. a suitable Village Hall for such an event then please get in touch via the Mail Form on the left hand panel.
