WTTC Competitions

Three Intra-Club Competitions are run during the Close season: The Ken James Memorial Cup: This is a Singles handicap event. The Cup was bought with a donation made on the death of Ken James to the Club by his family. Ken had played for Yorkshire before coming to Warminster and was Chairman of the Club during the late 1970's. Recent winners have been: 2007: Billy Ho a Wiltshire County Junior player who attends Warminster School and then under-18 County Champion. 2008: Doug Gerrish, a member of the sucessful 2007/8 'B' Team The John Macey Trophy: This is a Pairs Competition played without handicaps in which matches between pairs comprise 2 singles with a doubles match being the 'decider'. Recent winners have been: 2007:Billy Ho & Ray Sims. 2008: Brian Wilde & Doug Gerrish Club Singles Competition: This is played without handicaps. Recent winners have been: 2007: Brian Wilde then the No.3 in the County's Veterans section. 2008: Nigel Daniels.
