Aim & Objectives of The WVCP

The Aim of the WVCP is to provide a forum through which local organisations and individuals can work together on a rolling programme to meet the following broad Objectives:


Develop specific plans for improving the Cultural, Economic, Environmental and Social life of the area;


Obtain the funding - through Government agencies, other bodies & local fundraising activities - necessary to implement agreed plans;


Contribute, alongside local government & other agencies, to the realisation of these plans;


Following extensive consultation which saw a WVCP questionnaire delivered to each of the 10,000 households in the Community Area, a Warminster & Villages Community Plan was published by the Partnership in 2005 covering aspirations over the following decade. As well as seeking to identify new projects to implement this Plan, the Partnership is also interested in working with other organisations/groups to assist projects they have conceived to get off the ground where they help to meet the Plans' objectives.
