AGM and Open Meeting 2007

The Warminster and Villages Community Partnership
Annual General Meeting and Open Meeting
was held on the morning of 1st December 2007 at Dewey House

Members of the general public, Councillors and representatives of local organisations attended and heard a comprehensive report from retiring Chairman Tim Trounson covering the wide range of activities undertaken over the preceding year. The following were elected to the WVCP Committee:
Digby Barker (Chair), Elisabeth Collyns, Bill Common, Steve Douglass, Louis Hoareau (Vice Chair), Chris March, Michael Mounde, Tony Nicklin, Bill Parks, Fleur de Rhé-Philipe, Len Turner and Richard Violet. Also serving on the Committee are Keith Humphries and Steve Wheeler, appointed by Warminster Town Council; Peter Dunford, representing Wiltshire County Council; and Meril Morgan, representing West Wiltshire District Council.

The Committee then met and elected Digby Barker as Chairman and Louis Hoareau as Vice-Chairman. Len Turner and Keith Humphries were elected as joint Treasurers. The functions of Secretary are continuing to be undertaken by Leslie Rocker, the Partnership Agent who is remunerated for his services on a part-time basis.

The AGM was followed by an Open Meeting at which matters relevant to the residents and organisations of Warminster and the surrounding villages were discussed.
