History :
The mini welsh man has been plying his wares in Warminster since 1988. Having been overseen by swansea scouts when he was eleven. His limited Talents and his footballing ideas will go down in Warminster football history . Having been involved in the Warminster Football Scene since 1988, he has fell just short of joining Warminster Town not because he was bound for greater things and (because he didnt click with them.) He Founded Warminster United with Self - styled Footbaall coach Martin Read who has returned to the fold ).After Two years in the Frome & District eague. He decided is was to much trouble to run a sunday league side. Warminster United then became Warminster Casuals, and Read went on to run a Warminster Girls side. After a year out Glasson was on the books of Heytsybury ATHLETIC , After failing to get into the first team he moved on to sunday side Prestbury United (Now Prestbury Sports bar)and had a colourful five year spell with the unEventful club. In 2001
Heystbury Athletic who had renamed themselves the Cock Inn Fc Folded in the awake of thier Manager leaving and noone wanting to take it over. Glasson who was getting disallusioned with Prestbury Club found it ideal to ressurect his Managerial role with the Vacant Cock Inn Job. and after starting from scratch he founded Cock Inn Rangers and played sundays revisiteing the Frome & District League. After a great first season the club failed to live up to its expectataions and after five years folded in the awake of debts and low morale. Glasson's rest was short lived as a clutch of old players bonded together and Pesuaded Glasson to relight the Grass roots club and formed this new club Yew Tree Rangers.
The 38 year olds Player-Manager role presence is always slated by locals and his players, but has the respect of all .who know him and respect him for what he has done for football in Warminster.
