Team Frome to Strong for Yews
The Yews Travelled to Gypsy Lane With the Intent to dour Team Frome Twos Promotion Push . but were met by a much stronger and organised home side who soon put The Yews imbedded in the bottom three. A lighter squad saw Glasson Shuffle his pack around and a bright start saw the yews defy early match comments
"what this team like!" one player was overheard to say " Shit" then chuckles says another. But the bright start petered out within ten minutes and the Yews shipped four goals in twenty minutes of uncomposed football validating the quotes before the match.. The Strict Referee helped the Yews to some dignity and they won their share of freekicks and corner kicks, But the Homeside were more dominant and when they countered they countered had and fast.Makwana didnt help himself with some basic goalkeeping errors, nor did the Yews players who stood and watched on occasions giving thier keeper no help. Yews Defender Kye Collier scoring record ,reads two own goals in two games, as he put one past his keeper in the second half.Rory Kelly wins my man of the match for his persistance while scott howse pulled one back for the Yews after pouncing on a poor goalkeeper clearance. Martin Read and Sam sanders replaced Kenneddy and Self, before Nigel Chantly was sent of for violent conduct along side The Home sides Captain in a last minute incident. final score 6-1.
