Richard Chalmers 36 tool hire manager
The left back has only played three games this season, a reoccuring knee ligamentr problem has seen him sidelined while continuing treatment. The Original Fromee is a tough challenger and likes to charge up the left flank. Scored a brilliant equalising goal in the first game of the season against Griffen Fc to secure the Yews first point of the season. |
Alex Makawana
Alex was first sign up for Rangers and early signs saw him ideal for a strikers partnership with Stuart Green. since then he has shone as a central defender, but after deputing for first choice keeper Stuart Milikin {who has since left the club} has taken over the number one shirt and is beginning to become confident in that position. |
Mark " cheeese" Self
 | | Cheese returns for a second season for the red and whites, and his return will lift morale. Cheese is a skillful confident player who is defensive minded and competetive. he can read the game well and has the pace and confident to take players on from deep areas.one of last seasons best players and loves the odd "haka" when frustration turns to boiling point. |
|
Nigel chantley
 | | Mr nasty. Commanding centre back who will give all in the pursuit of having just one game where he can enjoy the win before the end of 90 minutes. He is not happy until that finaj whistle is blown. Very vocal, very verastile and very good in the air. |
|
Henrik Da Silva
Portugese import Da Silva is mainly a defensive minded player, has played everywhere bar upfront this season , is very laid back as these portugese are has skill , pace and awareness!! and we have finally seen him at his best when he partnered Chantly in the back against Sureset Rangers. |
Lee Romain
 | | Lee has found it hard going, a few injuries have dented his confidence and moral, The Young oacey winger has been in and out of the squad and now faces a lenghty lay-off with a knee problem. |
|
Jarek Filak
 | | The Polish midfielder has rarely been seen since pre-season. The 24 year old would-be engine of the side, is very creative, skillful and can use either foot. Work however has kept him away and he failed to turn up for last weeks win over Sureset. |
|
Rory Kelly
 | | Local lad Rory pulls pints at the Yew Tree, but also can pull out a cracking shot from long range, The Midfilder looks likly to fill in along side Yarek to form a formidable midfield. |
|
Lee KENNEDY
 | | This will be KENNEDYS First season playing 11-a-side football. but during training he has shown that he is very aware and alert all the time. and comes with pace and a hard tackle. The lad looks set to fill the vacant right back position. |
|
Stuart Green
 | | Rangers player through and through, has been a consistant player for seven years. Was for the first five years No1 keeper and one of the best in the lower divisions. Has now moved outfield and has relit his football career as a attacking force is very vocal, passionate and puts it all in for the Yews cause. vice-captain and chairman |
|
Martin Read
 | | The Yews Player/Coach has given the club a light hearted approach to the game. His Football Knowledge and swagger is of course opinionated but most of the time he does have a point. Is a versatile player looking to sit in front of the defence. |
|
John Green
One of the last remaining Oldies who has been fighting the rangers cause for five years. The stocky defender is nimble on his feet but god can he crunch when he tackles. He finally scored his first goal for his club against Sureset and after bursting a gut celebrating that achiement he now is considering righting his memoirs. |
Mikey Payne
The classy striker has turned round the Yews Fortunes since joining the Yews midway through November. The pacey striker has formed a good parnership with Stu Green this season. You would not know it but he is first choice keeper for saturday side Deverills.Versatile or Wot!!!! |
