GOOD FRIDAY

You are invited to join us as we walk quietly behind a wooden cross, visiting the churches in the town centre.
The route takes in the Baptist Church, the Greig Centre, School Road, the Catholic Church, Priory Road, the Methodist Church, the High Street and the Church of England
Outside each church there is a bible reading, a prayer and a verse of a hymn is sung
Afterwards, coffee & hot cross buns are taken in St Nicholas church
In 2005, the Walk of Witness will begin at 10-30am in front of the Baptist Church in Henley Street

EASTER SUNDAY

All the churches hold services to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. You are most welcome to join us.

EASTER MONDAY

Every year, since 2001, ACT has organised an Easter Parade for the town of Alcester.
This begins with a parade up the High Street led by the churches of the town and local dignitaries, the Court Leet, Town Organisations, fancy dress / Easter bonnet entrants and anyone else who wants to join in the fun.
This is followed by two hours of free entertainment including music, dancing, storytelling, face painting, easter egg hunt, bouncy castle and exhibitions (including the winners of a special schools art competition). Free tea & coffee is served in the Town Hall.
