Here at the AVARA we try to keep things as simple and straightforward as possible. With this in mind we decided to build a section on our main website to help people understand what Amateur Radio is all about.
It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned Amateur, someone thinkng of becoming an Amateur, or just want to know what it is; we hope you will find the answers.
The Avon Valley ARA has been going for 20 years now and we are still as active as ever, in fact even more so now. We have updated all of our equipment with the latest available and always try to take part in as mant events as we are able.
