Childrens Show Classes

This page is a continuation of the Adult show schedule. In the event of any dispute the written published shedule will be used to interpret the query.

Division G - Children
All entrants in this division must be under the age specified on show day.
The Age of the entrant must be on the show side of the entrant card
All food stuffs are to be covered with clear plastic
All signatures or means of identification must be effectively covered for judging
Any flower, plant, fruit or vegetable used need not be grown by the entrant
Handwriting entries in classes 92, 105 & 102 must be available for judging on entry night

All entries in these sections are Free of Charge

Pre School Age
082 - A picture not to exceed A3 size of "My favourite fruit" - tracing excluded
083 - Novelty animal, made from any type of vegetables or fruits
084 - Decorated pebble / stone
085 - Decorated paper plate using any materials

Ages 5, 6 & 7
086 - Picture, not exceeding A3 size, tracing excluded
087 - Novelty animal made from any type of vegetables or fruits
088 - Decorated pebble / stone
089 - Decorated paper plate using any materials
090 - A floral decoration in an egg cup
091 - Five chocolate crispies on a paper teaplate
092 - Handwriting, copy an extract of supplied text, to demonstrate handwriting ability. To be completed on a special entry form available from the secretary

Ages 8, 9 & 10
093 - Picture not exceeding A3 size tracing excluded
094 - Novelty animal, made from any type of vegetables or fruits
095 - Decorated pebble / stone
096 - A decorated paper plate using any materials
097 - Floral Decoration in an 8 inch (20 cm) or smaller basket
098 - Nine sweets on a paper tea plate
099 - Five butterfly cakes on a paper plate
100 - Five jam tarts on a paper plate
101 - Handicraft, decorative card, one item, free choice
102 - Handicraft, one item, soft toy, free choice
103 - Handicraft, models, one item free choice, original design, not kit form
104 - Handicraft, model, one item, free choice, kit form, including lego type etc
105 - Handwriting, Write a letter to a historical figure of your choice. to be written on a special form available from the Secretary

Ages 11 , 12 & 13
106 - Picture not exceeding A3 size tracing excluded
107 - Handicraft, decorated pebble / stone
108 - Handicraft, decorative card, one item, free choice
109 - Handicraft, Any medium, one item, free choice, original construction, not kit form
110 - Handicraft, model, one item, free choice, original design, not kit form
111 - Handicraft, model, one item, free choice, in kit form incuding lego type etc
112 - Composition, write an artical on a local subject - for display on the Badsey Web site. To be written on a sepcial entry form available from the Secretary

15 years of age and under
113 - Design a cover for the 2003 Flower Show Schedule (maximum size A4)
114 - Design a mobile phone cover, on paper maximum size A4
115 - Design an outfit to wear to a pop concert, maximum size A4
116 - Design and make a Carnival mask
117 - Draw a map of Badsey showing site of hidden treasure. Maximum paper size A3
118 - One photograph, unmounted and unframed, taken by the entrant, My favourite place, Maximum size 5 inches x 7 inches (13cm x 18cm)
119 - One photograph, unmounted and unframed, taken by the entrant of any vehicle. Maximum size 5 inches x 7 inches (13cm x 18cm)
120 - five plain scones
121 - Three gingerbread men
122 - Victoria sponge cake, round, approximately 7 inches across (18 cm)
123 - Table decoration using flowers or foliage, maximum size 18x18 inches (46cm x 46cm)
124 - A vase of garden flowers arranged for effect and shading
125 - A minature garden in any container, not exceeding 15 x 10 inches (38cm x 26cm)
126 - Minature scarecrow, self standing, maximum height 18 inches (46cm)
