For the competitive bowler

A number of our bowlers represent Worcestershire County Bowls Association during the season and on a number of occasions teams from the club have won their way through County Competitions to compete in the annual EBA National Championships at Worthing. Bowlers can enter all the County competitions through the Club.

The club plays in The E.B.A. Top Club Competition, also the E.B.A. National Two Rink also the Vernon Turner Cup. In addition, the Club is very active in the following Bromsgrove & Redditch Monday Triples.(two teams) Plus the Interberga Tuesday Triples, (Two Teams) Supporting also Malvern Brook Triples.This year the club continues its clime in this League table winners of Division 2, by 4pts. Last but not least The Stair lift league,which in our first year of entering the club has won Division A. a great success for our first ever Lady Club Capt. Mrs. Gill Price.there are all the usual club competitions including an Open Triples Competition Which is being held on Sunday 23rd Venue Club Grounds. Also, of course there are all the weekend friendlies.
Congratulations to the Worcestershire Under 25's single champion Mr G. Roberts who has successfully defended his 2006 title, to become the 2007 champion. Gareth has now added to this title and become the Under 25's Three Counties Champion 2007.
Congratulations are in order also to club member Mr I. Beesley who became the Area Singles Champion Civil Service.2007.
Congratulations are also in order for the Barbourne Ladies team who were runners up in the ladies National Two Competition on Sunday 2nd September 07 well done girls.
As an endorsement of quality our green is now used annually by both the County mens and ladies teams.
