Bringing a very successful fortieth anniversary year, in which we raised over £1000 for charity and won 6 trophies in drama competitions, to a close, the latest Bishampton Barnstormer production, directed by Roger Ockenden, of KING ARTHUR by Paul Reaks, is described as a pantomime adventure in Camelot,
The Wizard Merlin (Lindsay Cameron) tells a tale of the royal pair Queen Guinevere (Paul Judge-Talbot) King Arthur (Alan Taylor) who are pursued by the Evil Morgana (Audrey Taylor) her son Mordred (Jeremy Boaz) and how Lancelot (Roz Leather) aided by Olivia (Izzy Sanders) Sally (Susie Dawes) Squirt (Richard Taylor) Smoulder a young dragon (Charlotte Cameron) and of course the magic sword Excalibur, come to the rescue.
Together with a chorus of 18 children and adults, the cast bring all the traditional elements of panto to the Villages Hall Bishampton on 2nd to 4th December at 7.30pm with a matinee on Saturday 4th December at 2.30pm.
