disability action under took a brief visit to stourport high street on 27th 01 2004 to see hoe accessible the high street was to disabled people
the findings were
17 shops were in accessible to wheelchair users
of these only one business raised concerns over the cost of any improvement
the restof the businesses visited said the reason they were either having refits during the summer
or were having difficulty with planning
stourport is good in land tourist spot but it could be brillant tourism spot if businesses local organisations actually manage to work together and improve the access for all
