Friends from Berlin

Ourcontact with an adventure playground in East Berlin, has enabled us to make new friends. We teamed up with Harebreaks adventure playground in Watford, and the exchange group spend a few days in London, then here in Evesham, experiencing both urban and rural playgrounds and localities.last year was their second visit to our playground. We made the trip to Berlin with 6 children from here and 6 from Watford. They all had a great time. Funding is difficult - European funding is for 16 years and over, none for under 14's. We think that the opportunity for these children is great -a life changing experience and will continue to explore further exchanges with other countries -we have contacts in Italy, and Eastern Europe as well as around the UK. We hope to get some money to build a 'Bunk House' to make staying here easier.
