Under 14's New Manager
 Brendan Simester, is the new manager of Franche Boy's Under 14's for the season 2003-2004.
Brendan was a successful player with a variety of clubs in and around Kidderminster, playing for Bewdley Town in the premier division. Strangely enough Brendan played for Ferndale in his youth but of course there was no Franche Boy's in those days, he now tastes management for the first time.
Now 32 years old he finds it is the right time to put some of his knowledge back into the game and where better than with one of the youth sides at Franche.
Franche have 3 sides this season at 13's,14's and 16's, the older side playing in the Mercian Elgar league whilst the other 2 sides continue to play in the Stourport Youth League.

Halas Hawks 5-a-side
Halas Hawks 5-a-side, Saturday 14th June.
We had 2 Teams in the competition, both side failed to qualify but both finished 3rd in their groups.
The A team winning 2 and drawing 1 of their 4 games with Scott scoring 6 times.
The B team won 1 drew 1 of their 4 games with Leeigh K scoring 3 times.
The lads did their best but I am sure there is more to come, so we look forward to the Burlish event in a fortnight.
