New digital repeater goes on air

Wyre Forest Repeater Group have announced that GB7WF is now on-air from an elevated location in Bewdley. The repeater runs as a D-Star digital voice node. For further information, contact the WFRG via the link below.

The Repeater Group's own website has been redesigned and moved to a different service provider.

Kidderminster Repeater Group/WyrePak

The KRG has been established with the aim of setting up and running an Internet-linked semi-duplex repeater on the 2-metre band. Members include G8PZT, G0EWH and G4SPZ. Further information can be obtained by sending an e-mail to KRGWyrePak@aol.com You can also download a Membership Application Form from the KRG Website - click on the link below. Membership costs just £5 a year and helps to support the running of the Group's voice repeater, Internet links and Packet Radio systems.

Kidderminster Repeater Group merged with WyrePak on 18 March 2005.

KRG now has its own 'signpost' website, courtesy of Communigate, at www.communigate.co.uk/worcs/krg where you can find all the latest news, information, meetings etc.

Malvern Hills Repeater Group

The MHRG owns and operates the two Worcester repeaters, GB3NW on 145.625MHz and GB3MS on 433.175MHz. The repeaters share a cosy location at roof level at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital site. Chairman Bob G7WIG, Secretary Dave G4IDF and several other local stations keep the systems on the air.
