Streetwise and Easy to learn Techniques

Bromsgrove Freestyle Kickboxing and self defence club was set up in September 2003.
Chief Instructor Simon Johnson is a serving police officer who has trained in kickboxing for 8 years, and holds a black belt.He has also trained in police restraint techniques during his 16 years police service.
Simon has now affiliated his club to the World Kickboxing Association (WKA) which is the largest recognised kickboxing association worldwide. He is training children/adults from the age of 6yrs and up. Gradings are completed to WKA standards and are are voluntary. Competitions are also available to attend if desired.
Simon has realised that far to many clubs are too formal in their teachings and he has found that other clubs teach complicated self defence techniques which are unlikely to be remembered in stress situations. He therefore teaches basic but effective methods for children and adults alike.Bringing traditional training into the Millenium, using modern fitness techniques to improve cardio and body tone  along with punching and kicking to pads. Sparring is also taught but is totally optional.
The club operates at The Meadows First School in Bromsgrove on Monday Nights 6.30 - 8.30pm. Classes are £5.00.
