Summer Outings 2006

The photograph shows some members discussing Middle Littleton Tithe Barn on the recent car tour of the Tithe Barns of Worcestershire. We also visited the barns at Bredon and Leigh Court and benefited from a guided tour of the Parish Church in Leigh village. Lunch at the Fleece Inn at Bretfordton and afternoon tea in Upton-on-Severn kept us going. The trip was a great success despite occasional torrential thunderstorms. An earlier guided tour of Warwick on 10th June was also enjoyed by all participants. On Sat 23 September some 28 members enjoyed the generous hospitality of the Bromyard & District Local History Society and extremely interesting guided tours of Bromyard and Edvin Loach Church. The final trip this year was a guided tour of the Guildhall, Worcester on Saturday 14 October.
