RECORD NUMBER OF TEAMS AND FIVE DIVISIONS FOR 2008/09 SEASON...

The league's Annual General Meeting on 30 June saw the MFYL increased to five divisions for the first time ever, as the total number of member clubs rose to 57, just three short of the league's maximum of 60.
Although there were already plans to introduce a fifth division into the league's structure it became a necessity due to an influx of new clubs, many from the now defunct West Midlands Regional League Youth division.
With just six clubs resigning, and 16 accepted for membership, member clubs accepted a proposal to reintroduce a Northern Division.

The constitution of divisions for 2008/09 is as follows:

PREMIER DIVISION:
Alvechurch, Bedworth United, Boldmere St Michaels, Bromsgrove Rovers, Coventry Sphinx, Hednesford Town, Highgate United, Hinckley United, Nuneaton Town, Redditch United, Solihull Moors, Sutton Coldfield Town, AFC Telford United.

NORTHERN DIVISION:
Chasetown, Ellesmere Rangers, Gresley Rovers, Goodrich, Hanley Town, Newcastle Town, Pelsall Villa, Rocester, Rushall Olympic, Walsall Wood, Wednesfield.

WESTERN DIVISION:
Blackheath Town, Bustleholme, Castle Vale JKS, Dudley Town, Gornal Athletic, Kidderminster Harriers, Lye Town, Stourbridge, Tipton Town, Tividale, Willenhall Town.

EASTERN DIVISION:
Atherstone Town, Banbury United, Daventry Town, Dosthill Colts, Loughborough Dynamo, Nuneaton Griff, Racing Club Warwick, Rugby Town, Stratford Town, Southam United, Woodford United.

SOUTHERN DIVISION:
Archdales 73, Bewdley Town, Bishops Cleeve, Bromyard Town, Gloucester City, Hereford United, Malvern Town, Pershore Town, Stourport Swifts, Stroud Shortwood, Wellington.
