Malvern Horticultural Society
Malvern Horticultural Society is probably one of the oldest such societies in the country, having been founded in 1850. The start of the new millennium marked 150 years of keen gardeners in Malvern!
The Society offers a wide range of activities, trying to cater for all the gardening interests of its members. The list varies from year to year, but usually includes most of the following:
Evening lectures and slide shows, monthly from September to April.
A Nature Walk some time during the summer.
Occasional trips to visit interesting gardens
Coffee Mornings at various members' homes.
Plant Sales at all suitable events.
Sadly, as a result of poor support, the Society has decided to suspend its Summer Shows. To compensate for this, however, two competitions are planned for each indoor meeting, for which points will be awarded. At the end of the year, the most successful exhibitors will be awarded small prizes.
Visitors are welcomed at all our events, so please come along and "try us out". To give you a better idea of what we do, click on the "Programme" link on the left to see the whole of the Programme for the year.
